En 1988, Jacques y François
Lurton, hijos de André Lurton, crearon en la región
de Burdeaux la bodega que hoy lleva su nombre, con el
objetivo de elaborar vinos en distintas partes del mundo.
Partiendo de la idea según la cual es posible elaborar
buenos vinos en cualquier región donde la vid crezca
en condiciones naturales, crearon una gran gama de vinos
procedentes de todo el mundo. Cada uno con su estilo propio,
posee una excelente relación precio-calidad, respondiendo
a la demanda actual. Para lograrlo, seleccionaron los
mejores terroirs donde elaboran todas las líneas
de vinos, asistidos por su propio equipo de . |
enólogos. Desde sus
comienzos, la bodega produjo varietales, una novedad para
la época. En 1992 comenzaron a seleccionar las
zonas de acuerdo al varietal y las tierras según
el clima. En la actualidad, Jacques y François
Lurton cuentan con emprendimientos vitivinícolas
en Francia, Argentina, España, Chile, Australia
y Portugal.
In 1988, Jacques and François
Lurton, sons of André Lurton, founded a winery
in Boudeax, with the purpose to producing wines in all
regions of the world. Firmly believing that it is possible
to make good wine anywhere vines grow under normal conditions,
