FeCoVitA (Federación de Cooperativas
Vitivinícolas Argentinas) es una empresa joven,
fue fundada en 1980 que no dejó su carácter
gremial hasta 1990, cuando a través de licitación
pública adquirió las plantas de fraccionamiento
y las marcas de la ex-bodega estatal Giol.
Desde el principio se fijó tres grandes objetivos:
por un lado, el reposicionamiento de las marcas en el
mercado interno, la incorporación constante de
tecnología de punta y, en tercer lugar, la conquista
del mercado externo. El objetivo es que sus miembros
puedan asegurarse la colocación de productos
con un beneficio extra, así como equiparse y
tecnificarse utilizando la capacidad de compra conjunta
que tiene Fecovita y las facilidades que a su vez les
otorga. |
Las 31 bodegas que conforman
Fecovita se encuentran localizadas en los cuatro puntos
cardinales de la provincia de Mendoza.
En lo que se refiere a la tecnología de fraccionamiento,
Fecovita ha realizado fuertes inversiones en equipos,
maquinarias y líneas de embotellado de última
generación.

Although it was founded in 1980, Fecovita worked as a
cooperative until 1990, when bought the formerly state-owned
Giol winery’s bottling plants and brands at a public
bid.

The second, was the permanent acquisition of state-of-the-art
technology. The third and last objective was placing its
products in the foreign market. The mission of the company
is to contribute to the financial and personal satisfaction
of each associate producer.
Fecovita aims at ensuring its members the profitable sale
of their products and the acquisition of equipment taking
advantage of the Federation’s joint purchase capacity
and financing opportunities.
Fecovita´s thirty-one wineries are located in each
of Mendoza’s viticultural regions, the company has
made important investments in latest bottling equipment,
machinery and bottling lines. |
