Ernesto Catena, joven vitivinicultor argentino, hijo
del prestigioso bodeguero Nicolás Catena Zapata,
desarrolló desde su infancia en Argentina y
de su vida de viajero incansable (viviendo en New
York, Berkeley, Cambridge, Milan, y Londres) un amor
por el lugar que lo vio nacer, Mendoza, y por los
viñedos que recorrió de pequeño,
donde aprendió a descubrir la pasión
por elaborar grandes vinos. Su estilo, como no podía
ser de otra forma, es la diversidad, la búsqueda
constante de las mejores uvas, allí donde estuvieran;
seleccionando entonces, diferentes viñedos
para distintas variedades, donde el terruño
y el clima indicaran que las mismas lograrían
su mejor expresión, eligiendo a pequeños
productores para colaborar con ellos y trabajar juntos
para obtener la mejor uva y lograr así vinos
con identidad propia.
Todo esto, y algo mas, encierra este novedoso proyecto
Ernesto Catena Vineyards, donde una vez mas, su identidad
vitivinícola y su amor por la tierra mendocina,
quedan plasmados en grandes vinos.

Desde la antigüedad
los laberintos protegen un tesoro, un misterio, sólo
algunos llegan al centro y descubren la belleza. La
Corona de Baco es el laberinto permanente más
grande del mundo, sus tres hectáreas de viñas
de Malbec guardan en su centro el tesoro del vino. El
proyecto fue realizado por el createurs de vins Ernesto
Catena, el artista plástico Andrés Ridois
y la colaboración especial de Luis Reginato.

From ancients eras labyrinths have been protect a treasure,
a mystery, and only some arrive at the center and discover
the beauty of them. Corona de Baco is the greater labyrinth
of the world, made of three hectares of vines of Malbec
that keep in its center the treasure from the wine.
