Sin lugar a dudas, este valle
ha cobrado un gran reconocimiento en los últimos
años en lo que a la industria vitivinícolarespecta.
Centro de atracción de las grandes inversiones
extranjeras principalmente francesas y holandesas,
y con una gran explosión de las bodegas familiares
y boutique, el Valle de Uco hoy tiene su peso propio.
Tunuyán, Tupungato y San Carlos son envueltos
por las cumbres redondeadas del Cordón del
Plata y escoltados por la majestuosa Cordillera de
los Andes, que brindan un clima excepcional, lo que
provee la tan mentada amplitud térmica, que
permite un gran desarrollo de la vid. Sus cultivos
tienen una extensión de 10.000 hectáreas,
y son irrigados por el Río Tunuyán Superior.

Undoubtedly,
this valley has earned great recognition in the last
years regarding viticulture industry. It is the center
of attraction for foreign investment mainly French and
Dutch and with an explosion of family and boutique wineries,
Valle de Uco has its own importance today. Tunuyán,
Tupungato and San Carlos are surrounded by the rounded
peaks of Cordón del Plata and escorted by the
magnificent Andean mountain range, that offer an exceptional
climate, which provides the right thermic amplitude,
that helps in the growth of vines. Its cultivated area
has an extension of 10,000 hectares, and are irrigated
by the upper Tunuyán river.

Laguna del Diamante:
Parte del patrimonio del Departamento de San Carlos,
esta laguna emplazada a los 3.300 metros sobre el nivel
del mar, brinda un espectáculo natural único.
Unas 10.000 hectáreas conforman este Parque Provincial,
que tiene en su interior al volcán Maipú
(5.323 m). Este embalse cuenta con 2 kilómetros
de ancho por 7 kilómetros de largo. Se pueden
avistar cóndores desde esta zona, además
de realiza pesca deportiva de truchas salmonadas.
Laguna del Diamante:
As part of the heritage of the department of San Carlos,
this lagoon located at 3,300 meters above sea level,
offer a unique natural show. 10,000 hectares make up
this Provincial Park, which has volcano Maipú
(5,323 m) in it. This lagoon is 2 kilometers wide and
7 kilometers long. Condors can be seen from this area
and there is sport fishing of salmon-like trouts.

Manzano Histórico: Un bosque con árboles propios
de la flora autóctona de la provincia (sauces,
álamos, y pinos) enmarcan el Monumento Retorno
a la Patria, como reconocimiento a Gral. San Martín
y al Coronel Olazábal al regreso de Guayaquil.
Lugar rodeado por el Arroyo Grande, especial para realizar
mountain bike, trekking, andinismo, parapente y aladeltismo.
Manzano Histórico:
this forest has typical trees from the local flora (willow
trees, poplars, and pine trees) which frame the Monument
"Retorno a la Patria"- Return to the native
country", as a recognition to General San Martín
and to Colonel Olazábal when they came back from
Guayaquil. The place is surrounded by Arroyo Grande,
special for doing mountain biking, trekking, climbing,
parachuting and paragliding.
