Suter es una bodega
de cien años de antigüedad,
completamente equipada con la más
alta tecnología que conserva
los métodos tradicionales de
la elaboración de sus productos,
lo que la convierte en una de las empresas
más emblemáticas de la
zona.
El recorrido con los turistas comienza
con la visita a uno de los viñedos
ubicado detrás del establecimiento,
molienda, fermentación en tanques
de acero inoxidable y piletas de mampostería,
añejamiento en barricas de roble,
fraccionamiento, sótanos y cavas,
donde se les explica el método
champenoise utilizado para la elaboración
del champagne.
En el año 2003 se lanzó
el enoturismo, actividad que congrega
a cientos de turistas que desean vivir
plenamente un día de vendimia
en la bodega. El mismo nace de la necesidad
de brindar un mayor conocimiento acerca
del maravilloso mundo del vino a aquellas
personas que lo deseen. La actividad
comienza con el recorrido mencionado
anteriormente, una degustación
dirigida por el enólogo, cosecha
en una de las viñas, y culmina
con un almuerzo de campo.
Suter is a 100-year-old
winery, completely equipped with the
highest technology yet keeping the traditional
methods in the elaboration of its products.
This makes it one of the most emblematic
companies in the area.
The tour for visitors starts in the
vineyards, located just behind the winery,
followed by the crushing process, the
fermentation in stainless steel tanks
and concrete vats, the aging process
in French oak barrels, the bottling
process and finally, a tour around the
underground cellars, where the method
champenoise used in the production of
sparkling wine is described.
In the year 2003, it was launched Enotourism,
an activity that attracts tourists who
wish to live a whole day of vintage
in the winery. This idea was generated
from the need to offer a greater knowledge
about the wonderful world of wine. The
activity starts with the tour described
above and followed by a tasting session
directed by the oenologists. It also
includes harvesting in one of the vineyards,
and it concludes with a country-style
lunch.
