Una historia que lleva más de un siglo en estas tierras. En el año 1873, en Barrancas, Maipú, provincia de Mendoza, se establecieron los primeros viñedos y el cuerpo principal de la bodega. En 1910 la familia Flichman reinauguró la bodega con su propio nombre. El pionero y visionario fue Don Sami Flichman, quien desarrolló las primeras viñas en una hondonada surgida por el paso del río Mendoza. A Sami lo sucedió su hijo Isaac, quien realizó estudios enológicos en Francia y los aplicó en la elaboración de vinos finos aquí en estas tierras. Producto de sus conocimientos fue el celebrado Caballero de la Cepa con su lanzamiento en 1947. La labor de la familia perduró hasta 1983, año en que la bodega fue comprada por un grupo económico argentino. Pero no todo estaba dicho. El gran cambio para Finca Flichman comenzó a partir de 1998, cuando la bodega fue adquirida por el grupo portugués Sogrape, una de las mayores compañías vitivinícolas familiares del mundo.

A history that began more than a century ago. The first Flichman vineyards and winery were founded in Barrancas, Maipú in the province of Mendoza in 1873. Almost three decades later, in 1910, the Flichman family restarted the business with their own name: Finca Flichman. Sami Flichman, a visionary pioneer in the wine industry, developed the first vineyards in a depression made by the Mendoza River in ancient years. task and put his learning into practice making fine wines. The top exponent was Caballero de la Cepa, one of the most celebrated wines in Argentina. The winery remained a family business until 1983, when an Argentine business group bought the company. The history was not over, though. In 1998 the company experienced a great change when it was acquired by Sogrape, a leading Portuguese group with a sound viticulture experience and an important share in the international market. Sogrape's international experience and the same passion for quality that had driven Sami Flichman have given renewed vigour to the winery. A new investment plan was started, new vineyards were planted and the winery was enlarged endowing it with the very latest technology.
Today, Finca Flichman is a leading producer of high quality wines with Argentine character and international style aimed at meeting the demands of consumers worldwide.
