Bodegas Bórbore fue fundada en 1936, sobre los faldeos de las Sierras Pie de Palo, hacia el este de la ciudad capital de San Juan. En sus viñedos propios, ubicados en diversas zonas de San Juan, cada una de ellas con distintas características de terroir, es cultivada una amplia variedad de uvas finas, seleccionadas de acuerdo a la aptitud del cepaje para cada suelo. La gran amplitud térmica, junto al abundante sol y el cuidadoso control de los riegos permiten obtener vinos con gran concentración de sabores y aromas frutales, excelente acidez en las blancas y una muy buena formación de taninos en las variedades tintas. Bórbore Winery was founded in 1936, on the Pie de Palo mountain side, to the east of the capital city of San Juan. The winery vineyards are located in several districts of San Juan. Each one has diverse soil characteristics. A wide variety of high quality grapes is cultivated and selected according to the quality of each

soil. The great thermic amplitude between day and night along with the abundant sunlight and the careful control of irrigation allow the winery to obtain wines with a great concentration of fruit flavors and bouquet, an excellent acidity in the white grapes and a good formation of the tannins in the red varieties. The winery uses state-of-the-art technology in each of the processes of production which are carefully controlled. These guarantee the maximum expression of the attributes of each variety.
